Relational, attuned, and effective. Let us support you as you take that important next step!
Rachelle Mechenbier, LPCC is the owner and director of Paper Clay Therapy Institute, a new group practice in the heart of Albuquerque. Contact us today to schedule your appointment with one of our bright, dedicated therapists.
We believe the basis of useful therapy is a good working relationship. We work to build that strong, genuine foundation so clients know they have a safe space to work. Our therapeutic approach is grounded in a balanced blend of relational processing and the latest neuroscience. We work first to understand your perspective and therapeutic goals. Together, we create a customized treatment plan using research-based interventions to help you get there. Our advanced training in interventions include:
- Structural Dissociation
- Somatic Experiencing
- Creative Arts Therapy
These evidence-based and cutting-edge therapies allow us to increase your understanding of your symptoms and support you step-by-step to heal and build new capacities.
This is a rare opportunity to create and work in your own private practice setting (not a big agency with a myriad of other clinicians and clients, not getting to see the type of clients YOU wish to see.) You set the hours, types of clients you work best with, and everything else is taken care of (billing, claims, eligibility, etc.) Minimum of 20 clients per week is preferred.
